Final Fantasy 16 has plenty of tough enemies for you to track down with each being harder than the last. These enemies can be everywhere from Sanbraque to Rosaria and even Dhalmekia.
As you explore the vast world of Valisthea, you will see many monsters such as the Flan Prince, Belphegor, Grimalkin, and Severian. Each one of these creatures will challenge you but none are as deadly as the Bomb King.
If you want to increase your supply of high potions, you will want to track down the Bomb King for Owain at the Hideaway. This will allow you to heal yourself more often. All it takes is some bomb ash. You just need to know where to look. This guide will show you where to find Bomb King in Final Fantasy 16.
Bomb King location in Final Fantasy 16
The Bomb King is located in the Sanbreque region of the map. To find the enemy easily, fast-travel to The Dragon’s Aery obelisk. From there, head south along the edge of the map until you see a small path that leads southwest. Follow the path and take the path to the left called the Imperial Chase to reach The Crock.
Once you reach The Crock, you will find the Notorious Mark inside. You can also reach this area by traveling from Northreach but this will take much longer.
You won’t be able to find the mark until you activate the Weird Science side quest. During this side quest, you will be tasked with collecting Bomb Ash from the Bomb King.
To find the Bomb King, you will be tasked with using the Hunt Board at the Hideaway. Once you have defeated the Bomb King, return to Owain to get the Treated Potion Satchel. This will increase your potion capacity – allowing you to hold more potions in your inventory.
How to defeat Bomb King in Final Fantasy 16
Bomb King is a vicious enemy that you will need to defeat to get Bomb Ash. Bomb King has the following attacks that you need to worry about:
- Coronation – Bomb King will shoot a fire projectile. The fireball is slow-moving and easy to avoid but leaves a fire AOE.
- King Justice – Bomb King will summon multiple allies called Witan that will self-destruct when their health drops or after enough time passes.
Outside of these special attacks, Bomb King will use plenty of AOE attacks that you should avoid. Overall, the fight is pretty simple and shouldn’t cause you much trouble.
The items dropped by Bomb King are Bomb Ash and Bomb Ember. The Bomb Ember is needed to craft the Excalibur sword. You will also get plenty of EXP for defeating this foe.
