In Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 16, fans can revisit previous boss fights in a new Final Fantasy mode called Stage Replay and Arcade Mode. With new Eikonic Abilities and weapons to back you up, we’re sure you want to show your past foes who boss!
There will be various monsters, Dominants, and Eikons that await you in the world of Valisthea. Sometimes, you may be solely focused on completing your playthroughs and may want to revisit those battles that gave you a hard time. So, follow this guide to learn how to activate Stage Replay and Arcade Mode in Final Fantasy 16.
How do you activate Stage Replay and Arcade Mode in Final Fantasy 16?
A few modes will become available once you unlock Training Mode. During your time at CId’s Hideaway, Clive is tasked to complete an errand for Charon. In doing so, he activated the Arete Stone, a base for all training and arcade-related events. The Arete Stone is where you can activate the Hall of Virtue, Stage Replay, and Arcade Mode.
During a Main Quest, the protagonist, Clive, must combat and defeat the Midnight Raven. You will learn how to do Cinematic Clashes and Parry during this encounter. Once you have successfully the Midnight Raven, you will unlock Stage Replay and Arcade Mode. To access this mode, you can fast travel to The Hideaway in the Central Storm Deadlands.
This new mode is New Game Plus, which during Arcade Mode, you can replay any previously cleared stage and thus be awarded a score based on performance. However, there will be Level, Gear, and Consumables restrictions. Additionally, the gameplay mode will default to Action Focused mode. Therefore, you will not be able to use your Timely Accessories.
As for Stage Replay, you can redo a previously cleared stage. However, the stage will reset to your current level.
