In the latest Square Enix action-RPG, Final Fantasy 16, there will be plenty of bosses and Eikons where you can perform a Cinematic Clash. As protagonist Clive traverses through Valisthea to incur revenge on the Eikon Ifrit, he will meet various Dominants and their summons.

During his travels, he will learn more about the six realms with his party members, Jill, Cid, and the best pup, Torgal. Of course, they will participate in Eikonic battles, in which you might want to learn how to do a Cinematic Clash in Final Fantasy 16.

How do you do a Cinematic Clash in Final Fantasy 16?

Plenty of epic Eikonic abilities and gameplay will keep you in awe when playing Final Fantasy XVI. Though we thought there were enough quick-time events, such as Cinematic Evasion and Cinematic Strike, Final Fantasy fans can now do a Cinematic Clash. During a pivotal moment in battle, your screen will flash orange.

Unlike the Cinematic dodge and strike, where the quick-time event only gives you a moment’s notice during the combat. In a Cinematic Clash, there will be waves of orange scattered across your screen. To prevent a devastating blow, repeatedly tap the Square button on your PlayStation controller to fend off the attack.

This quick-time event can occur when your opponent’s WIll Gauge is low. Each time you successfully pull off a Cinematic Clash, you will have a notification on the right side of your screen that says Cinematic Clash in green. Depending on how many combos you use throughout the battle, your experience will increase.

To assist you, equip one of the Timely Accessories, the Ring of Timely Focus. This item will slow down time during an incoming attack, during which Clive will have more time to do the quick-time event effectively.
