Fans of the Forza series are eagerly waiting for Forza Motorsport 8 to release. The previous part of the series was a success, and they aren’t expecting anything less from the next one. But is Forza Motorsport 8 on Mac? Or will you have to get something else to play it? We’re going to answer all of this in detail and let you know if you can join in on the fun.
Can I play Forza Motorsport 8 on Mac?
Sadly, Forza Motorsport 8 is not available on Mac. This means that if you want to try the latest installment in the Forza series, you’ll need to switch your platform. And by that, we mean PC or Xbox Series X/S.
Forza Motorsport is published by Xbox Game Studios. For those who don’t know, all video games published by Xbox Game Studios are exclusive to Microsoft platforms, which include PC and Xbox. As for Forza Motorsport 8, it will be released only for PC and Xbox Series X/S. Even the Xbox One won’t be getting it, as the game is next-gen exclusive. Therefore, you’ll need to upgrade your console.
It is important to note that while Forza Motorsport 8 won’t be available for Mac on its launch day, you shouldn’t expect to see a Mac version in the future, too. As mentioned before, it is a Microsoft-exclusive title, and it will stay that way. Furthermore, while Mac is a decent platform, it might not be capable of running a demanding game like Forza 8.
As the game is a Microsoft-exclusive title, PS5 and Nintendo Switch users will also have to opt for PC or Xbox Series X/S if they want to try the game. Microsoft also has no plans to bring the title to the mentioned two platforms. Therefore, you don’t have any option other than buying it on the confirmed platforms.
