Klee Best Weapons

As a Main DPS, Klee has plenty of weapons she can use. Here are some different options:

WeaponRarity
Lost Prayer To The Sacred Winds5-star
Skyward Atlas5-star
Memory of Dust5-star
Kagura’s Verity5-star
The Widsith4-star
Solar Pearl4-star
Dodoco Tales4-star
Mappa Mare4-star
Genshin Impact Klee Weapon

One of Klee’s best weapons is Lost Prayer To The Sacred Winds. This weapon gives Klee a respectable 33.1% CRIT Rate at Level 90, and its passive will increase her Elemental DMG the longer she’s on-field, which is how she tends to be played. Alternatively, Klee can use Skyward Atlas thanks to the high amount of ATK it bestows, both with its Base Attack and ATK% substat. If you run Klee with a shielder, she can use Memory of Dust quite well since it gives a tonne of ATK overall. She can also make use of Kagura’s Verity thanks to its high CRIT DMG substat, although she can have some difficulty stacking its passive.

In terms of 4-star weapons, Klee has a few good options. If she’s in need of CRIT DMG or Rate, The Widsith or Solar Pearl are both solid choices and will increase her DPS. Klee can also make use of two F2P weapons, Dodoco Tales and Mappa Mare. If you were able to get Dodoco Tales from the event in 1.6, you’re in luck: this weapon was tailor-made to fit Klee’s playstyle and so it works very well on her, increasing her Charged Attack DMG. Mappa Mare can also be nice on Klee, since its passive will increase her Elemental DMG upon triggering an Elemental Reaction, although the Elemental Mastery substat isn’t the most optimal compared to CRIT stats or ATK%. That being said, it can work well if you use Klee on a consistent Reaction team.

Klee Best Artifacts

Klee has a couple different sets she can use. Either you could use 4-Piece Crimson Witch to increase the DMG of her Reactions, or you could use 2-Piece Shimenawa’s Reminiscence / 2-Piece Gladiator’s Finale with 2-Piece Crimson Witch Of Flames, which is generally more consistent but will not give you the highest possible DMG. The 4-Piece CWOF set is usually preferred when you know you’ll be performing Reactions consistently, so for example, on a team with Xingqiu.

While you could use 4-Piece Wanderer’s Troupe on her to increase the DMG of her Charged Attacks, you should ideally aim to use one of the sets mentioned above. This is because these will help boost the DMG of her Skill and Burst, which are still important parts of her skillset and shouldn’t be neglected.

For low-level players, 4-Piece Martial Artist or 2-Piece Berserker with 2-Piece Martial Artist work well until you’re able to get higher level Artifacts.

Genshin Impact Klee Artifacts

For your Artifact main stats, you will want to run:

ArtifactMain Stat
SandsATK%
GobletPyro DMG Bonus
CircletCRIT DMG / Rate

In terms of Artifact substats, you’ll want to focus on ATK%, Elemental Mastery, some Energy Recharge and both CRIT DMG and CRIT Rate.

How to use Klee

Her Elemental Skill, Jumpy Dumpty, bounces three times, dealing AoE Pyro DMG with every bounce. On the third bounce, the bomb splits into many mines. The mines will explode upon contact with enemies, or after a short period of time, dealing AoE Pyro DMG. This has two charges.

Her Elemental Burst, Sparks ‘n’ Splash, continuously summons Sparks ‘n’ Splash to attack nearby enemies, dealing AoE Pyro DMG.

Klee is a Pyro Main DPS who deals the majority of her DMG through her Charged Attacks, with her Skill and Burst being used as and when they’re available. Klee as a whole is quite ‘squishy,’ meaning she’s often vulnerable to attacks and features low HP and DEF to boot, a problem which most Catalyst users share. To combat this, Klee appreciates having a shielder on her team, so characters such as Zhongli or Diona are desirable. She also appreciates being paired with a Hydro or Cryo character that can proc Vaporize and Melt Reactions, which will help increase her overall DMG output. For Vaporize, you could use Kokomi, Mona, Yelan or Xingqiu, whereas for Melt you could try Rosaria, Chongyun or Kaeya. Bennett is also a good choice, as he’ll be able to buff, heal and activate Pyro Resonance to give your team more ATK. You could also use an Anemo Support instead of Bennett or your shielder, such as Sucrose, Venti or Kazuha, and make use of the Elemental RES shred of the 4-Piece VV Artifact set.

Besides being ‘squishy,’ another problem Klee faces is that she has slow attack animations. Therefore, to get the most DPS out of her you’ll need to perform animation cancelling techniques. For her Normal Attacks, you should jump cancel after using her second Normal Attack. You can also use this technique with her Charged Attack, by jumping after the clover above her head appears. Speaking of Charged Attacks, because Klee’s playstyle favours them, you might also run into some stamina issues with her. To help balance this, you should use a couple of Normal Attacks between her Charged Attacks, which gives her time to recharge her stamina a little before using them again.
