If you’re trying to enjoy Diablo 4, you might find some issues with your experience especially when it comes to voices. So we see, how to fix Diablo 4 no voice bug, as viewing those in-game cutscenes, might be quite different from what is expected and might change the feel of it.

Although this sort of thing is expected when playing a test, especially a Diablo 4 beta.

Will Diablo 4 have voice chat?

Yes, in fact, Diablo 4 will support voice chat, and the first game in the series to do so. It can be accessed via the social screen (O by default) and offers an in-game alternative to any other options you were looking at.

Why is there no sound in Diablo 4 cutscenes?

If you have no sound in Diablo 4 cutscenes, you might be experiencing a bug or setup issue for your game. In the beta phase, some languages don’t have any support yet and so don’t have any dialogue to use. This will, of course, should be fixed by the time the full game is released but in the meantime, there are some alterations you can try.

One issue might be the language you have your game set to, so you will need to change that. To do that simply follow these steps:

  • In your Battle.net launcher, go to account settings in the menu
  • Choose to modify install locations and change languages
  • Select English and apply

That should now alter the install into English the only one to have voice-over in the beta as of yet. However, if that has not fixed the bug, it may be down to your audio settings instead. Some players with surround sound are the ones having those issues as well.

  • Change audio to stereo in Windows
  • Change audio settings in-game from surround to stereo or headset

Either of these should hopefully fix your issue, and possibly the next beta won’t have any of these problems.
