How to play couch co-op with friends in Madden 24
The first way to play with friends is via couch co-op or local play. This allows you to play on your own platform with two controllers. To invite a friend via local play, simply connect additional controllers and go to quick play. From there, navigate to custom game. This will allow you to pick your own teams and play.
How to play online with friends in Madden 24
To play online with a friend, head to H2H (Head-to-head) mode from there, and select the play a friend option. Choose which friend you want to invite from your friends list. You can also play with friends in Madden Ultimate Team (MUT), Quickplay, and Superstar Showdown (which replaces Face of the Franchise on next-gen consoles). They can also be invited to a connected franchise mode if it is an online franchise. In this scenario, you can control one team each in the same league and play against each other or make trades with one another.
How to invite friends in Madden 24
If you want to invite friends via cross-play invites, you can do so using the EA Social Interface. Once this is brought up, search for your friend using their EA Identification Number. This will allow you to play with friends via cross-platform play. If you have platform friends, you can invite them from your friends list.
