Madden 24 is set to hit shelves in a little more than a month. When it arrives, players will flock to the stores and digital downloads thanks to new players, new stadiums, and enhancements. It’s always one of the most popular games of the year. Will gamers be able to enjoy the latest iteration in multi-player with their friends?
Sports, with very few exceptions, are played with and against other people. Madden 24 simulates football, which is played with quite a few other people. Is it multi-player this time around?

Will Madden 24 be multiplayer?
Yes, Madden 24 will be multiplayer. EA Sports has always given Madden users the ability to play with or against other gamers and the 2024 version is no different.
Superstar mode was previously a single-player mode but will be multiplayer for the first time in Madden NFL 24. In this mode, players would control one player on either offense or defense (the rest will be the improved AI) as they try to improve their avatar from being a draftee to perhaps the greatest player of all time.
This will be exclusive to the following platforms: PS5, PC and Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. It will not matter which of the Madden 24 editions players have, though. Both the standard and deluxe edition will have multiplayer options to take advantage of the immersive gameplay.
Is Madden 24 co op?
Additionally, traditional multiplayer game modes will be available as well, like co op. Online head-to-head, Madden Ultimate Team, and both Superstar KO and Superstar Showdown will be multiplayer. Naturally, exhibition games can be played with local multiplayer as well as long as there are two controllers.
Connected Franchise mode, which involves two or more players taking control of their teams, will return this year and be multiplayer.
Multiplayer matchups in Madden 24, which stars Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen on the cover, involve either online or local play. The online variation requires a subscription, such as Xbox Live or PlayStation Plus. Then, gamers can play with friends on their account or by random matchmaking. This can lead to an immersive experience thanks to the changes EA introduced.
