NBA 2K24 doesn’t release until September 8, but fans are itching to get their hands on the latest, which features Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant on the cover. Some games give players early access if they pre-order or something else the company desires. Is that going to be the case for NBA 2K24?

Can I get early access to NBA 2K24?
NBA 2K24 does not have any early access period. The game releases on September 8, and there is no three-day early access as is common with video games. The first time that the basketball community will be able to try out the game is on the release date, a rarity in this industry.
That is true of all editions. If you pre-order NBA 2K24 the Black Mamba Edition, Kobe Bryant Edition, WNBA Edition (with cover art for Sabrina Ionescu), or even the digital 25th Anniversary Edition, you will not get any advanced access, but you will get pre-order bonuses. That’s also true regardless of console. All platforms get the game at the same time. You can earn MyTEAM promo packs, Gatorade boost types, a 95 rated Kobe Bryant free agent card, Diamond shoe, and so much more, but that will all begin on September 8. No one has early access, though you can begin loading the game now to prevent having to wait when it goes live.
Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, as well as PC, are next-gen consoles, but they get the game at the same time as the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 crowds. The gameplay only differs slightly (thanks to ProPlay that uses real NBA footage), but everyone will be experiencing the captivating performances at the same time on Friday, September 8, 2023.
