NBA 2K24 is one of the most exciting sports games of the year. It will be released in early September, but gamers from all around the world can pre-order the game now. Once again, 2K Sports will release it for many gaming systems.

The upcoming installment of the popular basketball simulation will bring updated rosters and new features. Considering that the NBA could get some major moves in the offseason, many gamers will look forward to playing with new rosters.

This article will provide a detailed explanation of whether NBA 2K24 is coming to Nintendo Switch. You can also check if the video game is next-gen only and if it has crossplay.

Where to buy NBA 2K24 for Nintendo Switch?

2K Sports has officially confirmed that NBA 2K24 will be released for Nintendo Switch. The video game developer revealed this information in the FAQ section of the video game’s website.

The basketball simulation game can be obtained from Best Buy and will likely be added to the Nintendo eShop soon as well. Additionally, you can visit the NBA 2K24 website and choose which edition of the video game you want to obtain. The website will redirect you to a retailer.

For now, it appears that only Black Mamba and Kobe Bryant editions will be available on Nintendo’s gaming console. However, this may change in the future. The 25th Anniversary edition will not be available on the console, as well as the WNBA edition.

The Kobe Bryant edition is the standard edition of the video game, while the Black Mamba edition costs more and comes with a lot of extras, such as 100,000 VC.

It’s important to note that NBA 2K24 on Nintendo Switch will not look as impressive as it does on current-gen consoles. The hybrid gaming console is not as powerful as PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X, which is why you can expect downgraded graphics and longer loading times.
