All you need to know about Pokemon Go’s Psychic Spectacular!

Pokémon Go players have been eagerly waiting for Inkay and Malamar to make their Pokémon Go debut!
The Dark/Psychic type Pokémon have started appearing in-game as part of the September 2021 Season of Mischief and the Psychic Spectacular.
The 2021 Psychic Spectacular event begins on September 8th at 10:00 a.m. local time and will last 5 days until the 13th of September.
The Pokémon Go Psychic Spectacular is part of the Season of Mischief. Players will have noticed that there’s been a whole lot more Psychic, Dark and Ghost type Pokémon roaming around.
These players may have also been partaking in the Misunderstood Mischief research challenge. A series of daily challenges with a variety of rewards. The Psychic Spectacular will have its own additions to the Misunderstood Mischief Special Research story.
As Professor Willow tells us, Psychic-type Pokémon have been getting all worked up and appearing more often in the wild.
Here are some of the Pokémon you’ll be more likely to find during this Psychic Spectacular:
Inkay will now also be seen in the wild but its spawn rate is quite low. Spotting a wild Inkay will be quite rare so if you see one, get your PokeBalls out!
You can also get your hands on an Inkay by completing a special Misunderstood Mischief challenge.
Some of our Pokémon veterans will remember the unique and fun experience of trying to evolve an Inkay in Pokémon X and Y. Players had to turn their 3DS upside down as Inkay levelled up.

Throughout Pokémon Go’s Psychic Spectacular event, players will be seeing more psychic Pokémon at the top of Gym podiums for Raids.
Staryu, Chimecho, Bronzor, Espurr and Inkay will be making appearances at one-star raids.
Metang, Alolan Raichu, Medicham and Wobbufet will be appearing in three-star raids.
Lugia will remain in five-star raids.
Mega Slowbro will also remain in Mega Raids.
If players take a snapshot once a day, they’ll be in for a surprise!
And don’t forget, you’ll be able to get new stickers by visiting Pokestops, opening gifts or purchasing them from the shop!
Remember, the Psychic Spectacular is a limited event, so make the most of it while you can!
