Do you want only the best armor in Starfield? Whether you are completing quests, jumping from planet to planet, fighting Spacers, or simply chilling at the lodge in New Atlantis with other Constellation members, it is good to have the best spacesuits in the game.

There are a lot of spacesuits in Starfield. Some of them will come from completing missions while others are obtained by going into new game plus. Just like with getting the best weapons, you will need to work to get these suits.

The spacesuits on this list have the best mods, the strongest stats, and the best defense so you will want to get your hands on them. Here are the best armor spacesuits in Starfield.

Best Armor and Spacesuits in Starfield

There are plenty of good armor sets (including helmets) in Starfield that range from the Mantis Armor to the Starborn Spacesuit Astra. Here are the ones that we think are the best.

  1. Mark I Spacesuit
  2. Mantis Spacesuit
  3. Gran-Gran’s Spacesuit
  4. Bounty Hunter Spacesuit
  5. Starborn Spacesuit

Let’s break down what makes them so good.

Mark I Spacesuit

The Mark I Spacesuit is one of the absolute best for those who are just starting their journey with Constellation and it’s easy to obtain. For starters, this suit has some of the best physical, energy, and EM resistances in the game with good thermal, corrosive, and radiation resistance.

To obtain this great spacesuit, you need to get into the basement of the Lodge. It is protected by a master-level lock so you will need some digipicks and the Security skill. Simply go into the basement of the Lodge and take the suit from the case.

Mantis Spacesuit

The Mantis Spacesuit is another all-around good suit that will help protect you. It offers better resistance to thermal, radiation, and airborne as well as boasting some pretty high defenses. It also comes with legendary perks.

To obtain the Mantis Spacesuit, you need to complete the Mantis side quest. This side quest will take you to a remote planet where you will need to solve the Mantis puzzle. After that, you will get into the lair of the Mantis and get their spacesuit.

Gran-Gran’s Spacesuit

Unfortunately, you won’t be getting Gran-Gran’s Spacesuit if you started the game without choosing the Kid Stuff trait. This trait will allow you to start the game with parents who live in New Atlantis. Your mother will gift you the spacesuit after telling you a story about your grandmother.

Gran-Gran’s Spacesuit may not be legendary but it has resistance to all elements and it is pocketed so it can carry more. You will also get some good defenses from it.

Bounty Hunter Spacesuit

The Bounty Hunter Spacesuit is another armor set that isn’t legendary but definitely has good resistance and defenses. It has some of the highest defenses for a non-legendary spacesuit, making it really worthwhile to go get.

Just like with the Mantis set, you can get the Bounty Hunter Spacesuit in the lair of the Mantis. Once inside the lair, locate the room near the stairs with a bed and a footlocker. The spacesuit is just laying in the footlocker.

Starborn Spacesuit

The Starborne Spacesuit isn’t just one spacesuit. Instead, you have multiple suits:

  • Starborn Spacesuit Venator
  • Starborn Spacesuit Avitus
  • Starborn Spacesuit Tempus
  • Starborn Spacesuit Locus
  • Starborn Spacesuit Materia

That is just some of them that you can get. These are the best suits of armor you can get your hands on. To get the, you need to beet the game a certain amount of times. One Starborn armor set will appear in your inventory after entering new game plus up to 10 times. Each time the suit is different.
