If you’re excited about the game, find out the Starfield release date, or perhaps you want to learn more about Stafield’s hardcore mode. But first, every space explorer needs to know where they are heading. So, follow this guide to learn more about Starfield’s cities and where to find them.
All cities in Starfield and where to find them
There have been four major cities revealed in Starfield. Though, we are sure there will be plenty more you can find. These cities are as follows: New Atlantis, Cydonia, Neon City, and Akila City. Some cities will be home to various Factions, such as Constellation.
In addition to these cities, you will also have the chance to travel to The Key and Red Mile. Other cities will become discoverable as you complete various quests.
Where to find New Atlantis in Starfiled
You can find New Atlantis on the planet Jemison. New Atlantis is home to the Constellation headquarters and where you can find many of your upcoming crew members. Additionally, New Atlantis will play a significant role in the storyline of Starfield.
New Atlantis is home to the capital city of the United Colonies and is the most powerful political faction within the game. Within this city, you will find various types of people of different races and ethnicities.
Where to find Cydonia in Starfield
You can find Cydonia in a mining settlement on Mars in Starfield. The United Colonies currently govern Cydonia as it is a valuable area filled with resources. As it is a city known for its resources, it’s clear you may be finding yourself in Cydonia for an extraction or two. After all, your weapons may require plenty of mods.
Where to find Neon City in Starfield
You can find Neon City on what was once a fishing platform in the middle of the ocean on an aquatic world. Neon City is described as a “pleasure city” built by the Xenofresh Corporation. Of course, with a city described as a pleasure city, you can expect plenty of tourist traps.
Neon City was meant to be a fishing port until they discovered a fish with psychotropic properties. As a result, they now produce a drug called Aurora, which is only legal on Neon.
Where to find Akila City in Starfield
You can find Akila City on the planet Akila within the Cheyenne system. Akila City is also the home to the Freestar Collective faction, a loose confederation of three distinct star systems. Like New Atlantis, Akila City is home to a variety of people; only they believe in the sanctity of personal freedom and individuality.
However, Akila City isn’t always safe, as once you step outside of its walls, you will find a fierce predator known as an Ashta. These alien creatures are a mix between a wolf and a velociraptor.
Other cities in Starfield
The Red Mile is one of the various cities you will find during your journey. You can find Red Mile on planet Porrima 3 within the Porrima Star System. The Key is a space station city part of the Crimsom Fleet headquarters found on the Kyrx System. However, not much is known about these cities in Starfield.
