Other Bethesda games like Fallout and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim allow players to purchase homes as well as customize the interior. Enhance your gameplay experience by grabbing up your own houses in the residential district.

There are multiple home types to choose from in Starfield. Some come as rewards for following questline while others are given to you by traits. How you get one is up to you. Here are all the homes in Starfield and how to get them.

How to buy a house in Starfield

If you want to get a house in Starfield, you can do so by purchasing it from an NPC, completing quests, and having specific traits. There are homes in each major city in the game that you can purchase.

Before you can buy a home in Starfield, you must be registered as a UC Citizen. This is done by completing missions for the United Colonies faction. The most common way of getting a house is by talking to the real estate agent for the property. For instance, you can visit Aphelion Realty in New Atlantis to purchase the Wells Apartment.

Other homes that you can buy require you to talk to NPCs like Boone or Ngodup Tate. There is only one home that is a quest reward and you must complete specific quests to obtain it. These quests are given to you by the United Colonies faction.
