Do you want to drive land vehicles in Starfield? Bethesda has created a massive game filled with exploration. Starfield planets number in the hundreds and even go above 1,000. Because of this, it would be nice to have different means of traversing them.

In previous games from the development studio, land vehicles didn’t exist. In Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, you can’t travel using land vehicles and must either walk or fast-travel to different locations.

In games like No Man’s Sky (NMS), there is a jet pack that you can use to get around. With how long the game is, there is a chance land vehicles exist to make traveling faster. Bring a friend and discover the universe together. Does Starfield have land vehicles?

Does Starfield have land vehicles?

No. Starfield does not have land vehicles. Todd Howard confirmed this during an interview with Kinda Funny Games. Todd Howard did mention an item called a Boost Pack that sounds like it could be similar to a jet pack.

Hopefully, modders will come to the rescue and build land vehicles for players to drive around the surface of planets with. Unfortunately, Starfield ground vehicles just won’t exist without the help of the mod community.

Perhaps a future update will add additional vehicles if the feedback is strong enough. With this, we could get land rovers and maybe even hovercrafts. Since Starfield is a new IP, there will be plenty of tinkering to make sure that all of the Starfield vehicles are what fans want.

Will Starfield have land vehicles?

At this time, it does not seem like Starfield will get land vehicles. You won’t be able to use vehicles to clear obstacles or traverse the game world.

There could be some vehicles added in the future outside of the player’s spaceship but, for now, there are no land vehicles in the game that the player can use.
