When it comes to taking the tree branch, you’ll have two options. You can either steal it or ask Leah nicely. We think that you want to take the safer route, so we’ll go ahead and explain how you can persuade Leah Casler. Make sure to save your game before starting the process, as you will only get one shot at this. If you fail, you can load the previous save and try again.

How can I persuade Leah Casler to hand over the Tree Branch?

After you start the conversation with Leah, you will need to fill four persuasion meters. It isn’t easy as you have to do it within three turns. Furthermore, the more you’ve invested in your Persuasion skill, the smoother it is going to be.

To get the branch from Leah Casler in Starfield, choose the following dialogue options:

  1. First, select “[Persuade] I really need that tree branch.”
  2. Then, choose “I can be very annoying when I need to be. If you don’t give me that branch, I won’t stop asking for it.”
  3. Next, select “I’ll bring it back when I’m done with it, and I’ll make sure no damage is done to it.”
  4. Finally, select “I’m sure we can work something out.”

Even if you fail to persuade Leah Casler to hand over the branch, she will tell you about Earl Fulton, who will sell the branch to you for 500 Credits. In other words, there is no need to steal the branch.
