Do you want to get credits in Starfield by performing the puddle glitch? Bethesda games are known for being filled with bugs but this one is one of the strangest we have seen. You can steal an entire store’s inventory… from a puddle.
The poor vendor in Akila City won’t even see this act of theft coming unless a patch fixes it. Previous Bethesda titles are also filled with exploits like this. For instance, players can steal vendor inventories in Skyrim and sell the items back to the unsuspecting merchant.
This is a great way to snag some extra credits and you don’t even need to mod the game or use any of the console commands. All you need to do is make your way to the Cheyenne System and look at a puddle. Here is how you do the puddle glitch in Starfield.
Starfield Puddle Glitch – How to steal from Shepherd’s General Store
If you want to perform the puddle glitch, follow the steps listed below:
- Travel to Akila City located on planet Akila in the Cheyenne Star System
- Enter the city
- Locate Shepherd’s General Store near the city’s main entrance
- Look at the puddle in front of Shepherd’s General Store
- Steal the entire inventory of the store
As you can tell, there are only a few necessary steps to complete this exploit. When you reach Shepherd’s General Store, simply look at the puddle in front of the store. You may not see the store’s inventory right away.
If you are having trouble spotting the inventory menu, try using the crouch or going into third-person mode. This might help you loot the puddle.
Keep looking at the puddle and you will eventually discover what appears to be an invisible storage container with the entire store’s inventory. While there are many hidden chests in Starfield, nobody expected one to be in a puddle.
Those who complete this achievement before it is patched will be able to sell the entire inventory of a store back to the store owner without arousing any sort of suspicion.
