Simply put, you can get Quantum Essence in Starfield by defeating Starborn Guardians. Throughout the game, you will fight story-based Starborn enemies and a set number of guardians outside of the main quest line.
Starborn encounters are the only way to get Quantum Essence in Starfield. These formidable enemies may take some time to kill but the Quantum Essence is worth it.
How to use Quantum Essence in Starfield’
To use your Quantum Essence, go into the powers menu. This menu can be accessed from the in-game menu and by selecting the powers option that appears above your character.
In the powers menu, the Quantum Essence can be found at the bottom left of the screen. Selecting this will activate the Quantum Essence and you will see an aura around your character while it is active.
