When it comes to The Hunter and The Emissary, you can either fight one of them and join the other or fight both of them. However, why go through all the fighting when you can just persuade them to make peace? In this guide, we’ll explain how to persuade The Hunter and The Emissary in Starfield.

How do I persuade The Hunter and The Emissary in Starfield?

You’ll get to meet the two during the Revelation story quest, and they won’t be in a good mood. However, before you persuade them, make sure you take your Persuasion skill all the way to level 4. This is because, unlike some of the other characters like Leah Casler, these two aren’t easy to persuade. Therefore, you shouldn’t expect to talk them out of the fighting easily.

With your Persuasion skill leveled up to Rank 4, you will now have a 50% more chance of persuading the two. However, make sure to save the game before talking to them, as if you fail to do it properly, you can always reload and try again.

To start the persuasion, first select “[Speech] Stop this. Both of you! All this fighting across the Settled Systems. It has to end.” Then, proceed with these options to persuade The Hunter and The Emissary in Starfield:

  1. If there’s no way you two would hand over the Artifacts you wouldn’t even be speaking to me.
  2. There’s more to life than this endless search for the Artifacts. Find peace here.
  3. I know you’d like to help me if you could.
  4. Why even listen to me? Unless maybe, just maybe, you think I’ll say something to change your minds.

The first option will fail, but avoid this and move on. Eventually, the two will come to their senses. If they don’t, you’ll need to try again. Keep in mind that if you choose persuasion instead of siding with any one of the two, you won’t get your hands on any rewards.
