Do you need help solving the Scorpion’s Sting puzzle in Starfield? This puzzle is found during the Unity quest and involves moving a beam of light to match a constellation. To find this puzzle, you must first travel to the planet Hyla II in the Hyla System.
While the Scorprion’s Sting puzzle seems very difficult, it is much easier than you think. This isn’t the first puzzle you will come across in the game. There are other puzzles like the Mantis puzzle that are also rather difficult to figure out.
You will discover many puzzles in Starfield as you explore the universe with your crew and complete missions. You must be prepared with all the tools in your inventory and your trust boost pack. Here is how to solve the Scorpion’s Sting Puzzle in Starfield.
Starfield Scorpion’s Sting puzzle solution
To solve the Scorpion’s Sting Puzzle in Starfield, start by using the glyphs near the puzzle to control the light beam. The glyphs are laid out in a similar manner to your controller’s D-Pad with the four nodes being up, down, left, and right.
The goal of the puzzle is to move the beam of light using the glyphs so that it ends up at the left end of the constellation on the silver disc. This will create the scorpion’s tail.
Using the glyphs in front of the silver disc, guide the light to the scorpion’s stinger. This will cause a glowing orb to appear. This will also activate the next step of the Unity quest where you interact with Hunter and another Starborn known as the Emissary in the ancient ruins.
There are clues sprinkled around the area that give away the solution to the puzzle. If you are having trouble due to the angle of the glyphs, you can use photo mode to get a top-down view of the puzzle. This will moving the light much easier.
