Best Buy – alongside other retailers – have already started listing the latest NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti GPU, with pricing starting from $399. However, with major sales events about to start – including Amazon Gaming Week and Memorial Day – is the RTX 4060 Ti the right GPU for you?
The new RTX 4060 Ti will be the brand’s latest low-mid tier card, offering up around 100 frames per second @ 1440p and upwards of 150 frames per second in 1080p. It looks set to go live on May 24th, 2023, but with better mid-range cards being slashed in price over the next couple of weeks, it could be worth waiting to upgrade your gaming setup.

It’s unclear what the exact time of the RTX 4060 Ti launch will be. However, if we use previous launches – including brand’s RTX 4070 campaign – it’s safe to assume that the GPU will likely be available for purchase at 2PM US time.
This will likely also be the case for any other retailers that may be listing the card, including Newegg, Overclockers, Scan, Amazon, and others.

Best Buy list RTX 4060 Ti ahead of launch
The RTX 4060 Ti is set to go live on May 24th, 2023, with an MSRP of $399. However, Best Buy, Scan, and Newegg – to name a few – are already listing the GPU ahead of launch. This doesn’t really come as a surprise as retailers often launch product pages early, but it does give us exact pricing for the upcoming GPU launch.
The new RTX 4060 Ti SKUs are ranging from $399 to $469 at present, with the higher end reserved for the most prestigious AIBs. At $469 though, is the RTX 4060 Ti the best option for your gaming setup?
GPU sales could hamper RTX 4060 Ti sales
NVIDIA new RTX 4060 ti launch looks set to hit shelves with a bang, especially due to the $399 MSPR that its being listed with. Based on the RTX 3060 Ti launch, which was pretty successful to say the least, we can only expect similar sales projections – even with the current drop in demand.
Having said that, big sales events are just around the corner, meaning we could see sales faulter – especially if some of the market’s best mid-range GPUs are reduced.
A fine example of excellent value for money right now is the XFX Speedster MERC319 AMD RX 6800 XT – a GPU that can push decent gaming performance in 4K (something the RTX 4060 Ti can’t lay claim to).
At present, the RX 6800 XT can be snagged for as little as $539 at Amazon – making it an incredibly attractive prospect. When you compare the gaming performance of the two cards, it’s hard to argue with a $70 increase.
