Treasure Goblin is getting a much needed update in Diablo 4

Diablo 4 has been getting a lot of updates and news from the developers after they did a campfire live stream recently with the developers of the game. During this live, they discussed many new features and things that would be coming to the game in the hopefully near future. One of those new updates would be to mounts being able to break through barricades which then led to them hinting at something more possible coming to mounts. However, the updates ahead aren’t only for mounts.
Treasure Goblins in Diablo 4 are creatures that players will have to chase down and skill in order to get loot from them, making it a bit of an effort to get the rewards. However, it seems a lot of the rewards from these Treasure Goblins haven’t been all that good. It does seem that these Treasure Goblins will be receiving an update soon enough.
Players are glad for Treasure Goblins getting buffed
Treasure Goblins are supposed to be a way for players to get materials and other needed items from the game in order to keep up their in-game lifestyle and complete their builds. However, players have seen that some Treasure Goblins are more useful than others. So it is no lie that players are very excited about the news after finding out Treasure Goblins would be getting a much-needed update.
As the Reddit post suggests, going forward, the developers have confirmed that Treasure Goblins will have a guaranteed Legendary drop that starts at level 15. This means players will finally be guaranteed a much better chance at receiving rewards from these Goblins once defeating them. Players in comments of this Subreddit went on to say they are excited about this, especially people who are husbands and fathers or adults who only have time to play a couple of hours a night to play and can’t grind like others.
One user went on to share their frustrations with the game by saying, “Bro I had a treasure goblin appear during a world boss fight and he dropped nothing. So glad it’s getting buffed.” Thank goodness this will finally be fixed for players in the near future. There isn’t an official release date for when these new features will be added to the game, but players can rest assured the game is about to get a lot better with this and the mount buff.
