It’s not everyday you see the announcement of a massive 110-inch display, but we’re excited to discuss the Hisense 110UX release date, price, and specs – based on everything we know so far or can speculate about. Hisense revealed this behemoth of a television at CES 2024 and it unsurprisingly caught many peoples’ interest – the flagship of the ULED X series. Plenty of TVs were announced back at CES, but Hisense really stood out with this massive display which boasts mini-LED backlighting and a large amount of local dimming zones. Compared to something like LG’s latest OLED series, the Hisense 110UX offers a equally-impressive contrast to think about.

Hisense 110UX release date window speculation

The first thing to disclose is that Hisense has yet to announce the official release date of the 110UX, simply saying that it’ll be available later this year. As such, we can place a safe bet that it will be coming in the second half of 2024. Of course, if any further news comes out regarding the 110UX release date, we’ll be sure to update you with the latest.

Last year’s 85UX saw a limited release, so we could see the same thing for the 110UX as well, especially given its size and presumably small consumer base as a high-ticket product.

Hisense 110UX specs confirmed

Looking at the specs, the 110UX shines bright as a large 110-inch mini-LED panel with excellent color accuracy and high peak brightness. Hisense seem to be sticking to the familiar 4K resolution, though it seems like it could be available in an 8K rendition outside of the US. It of course uses HDMI 2.1 to support the 144Hz at 4K resolution and has over 40,000 local dimming zones for incredible HDR performance.

There’s no doubt that the 110UX will work great in any home theater setup, as well as being a monster display for gaming with VRR technology.

Hisense 110UX price estimation

Another thing Hisense haven’t revealed to the public yet is the price of the 110UX. One thing’s for certain though, this TV isn’t going to come cheap. Looking back to last year’s 85-inch 85UX mini-LED TV from Hisense and you’ll find a MSRP of $4,999.99.

Given the considerable bump up in size, we can expect the Hisense 110UX to cost closer to $10,000, which is what their 100-inch U8K would set you back at launch last year. However, the price of that soon dropped off to make it much more accessible.

Is the Hisense 110UX an OLED TV?

No, the Hisense 110UX doesn’t use OLED panel technology. Instead, it uses mini-LED backlighting to produce a much brighter image than you’ll find on any OLED TV or monitor. With a peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits and over 40,000 local dimming zones, the 110UX is going to be a top-notch display for HDR content such as movies, TV shows, or games.

We’d suggest fitting this into any high-end entertainment setup such as a home theater with surround sound speakers for the best immersion. The large 110-inch screen will be a game changer, if you can manage to fit it through your front door.

What other TVs are Hisense releasing in 2024?

The 110UX is the stand-out television that Hisense showed off at CES 2024, but they are also putting out some other TVs these year. The Hisense 98UX is another mini-LED in the ULED X series, and as the name would suggest, it is a 98-inch screen. The specs are a little diminished though with 10,000 local dimming zones and peak 5,000 nits brightness – still, nothing to complain about.

Hisense are also releasing a number of smaller mini-LED TVs as part of their ULED series (non-X) – the U8N, U7N, and U6N will be available in 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch sizes. They’ve already released the 100U76N QLED in January this year.
