Just in time for Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference this June, we’ll be talking you through the expected iPhone 15 Pro specs & iPhone 15 Pro Max specs. We’ve spotted plenty of rumors out there which can explain to us the kind of upgrades to expect from the latest iPhone generation for the higher-end models. While the release date and price may be similar to last year, specs can see some important upgrades.
Once September comes around, the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will almost be with us. When launches start, these pro models will occupy the high-end lineup. Analysts have been busy tracking down any rumors and leaks about the Pro & Pro Max specs for the latest generation of the popular smartphone. iPhone 15 Pro specs (expected)
We’re going to start with the iPhone 15 Pro, which sits under the Pro Max flagship. First things first, the Pro has historically been fitted with a 6.1-inch screen, and we don’t expect this to change with the iPhone 15 line up. The dynamic island should also be making a return.
Plenty of things remain unchanged from last year, but the likely addition of a USB-C port to replace the proprietary lightning cable means you’ll be able to use your spare USB-C cables with an Apple device, at last. A leak seems to confirm this, as Forbes reports. The iPhone 15 Pro could also be home to a new action button. This will be a solid-state button which is programmable for a number of different uses, effectively replacing the mute button /switch we see at the moment. Other physical buttons were also rumored, but this could be delayed to the iPhone 16 line up with new buttons (such as physical volume buttons).

iPhone 15 Pro Max specs (expected)
Pro Max models are going to see the same benefits and design changes we see on the Pro, with some additional extra to enjoy. Like just like the iPhone 14 Pro Max, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature a larger 6.7-inch screen. Like every other iPhone 15 model, it should also be switching over to USB-C – say goodbye to the lightning port. The new action button will also be a welcome addition, just like we saw with the dynamic island last year.
What will actually be different apart from the screen size though? Well, the Pro Max is said to feature much thinner bezels than it’s predecessor, likely even more so than the Pro. A mere 1.55mm bezel size is reported for the Pro Max. The big news here is the inclusion of a periscope lens for the Pro Max camera, which will set it apart from the rest of the line up if rumors hold up. This periscope zoom lens will provide better optical zoom, for 5x or up to 10x optical zoom.

Will iPhone 15 have USB-C?
Yes, it’s more or less confirmed that the iPhone 15 line up, including the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature USB-C.
This is due to a EU ruling that forces a move away from proprietary connectors such as Apple’s lightning cable.
How much RAM will iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max have?
Both of the previous generation iPhone Pro models featured 6GB of RAM. This is expected to be the minimum for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. However, current rumors reveal that we could be seeing this upgraded to 8GB this year.

As we said, Apple will be revealing much more to the world during their WWDC keynote, from June 5th, but details about the iPhone are usually left to a later date. Unless we see an even higher-end iPhone 15 Ultra, the Pro Max will be the flagship.
