Klarna launches its new collaboration with OpenAI’s ChatGPT, to give shoppers a “leveled-up shopping experience“.
Klarna, a leading global retail bank, payments, and shopping service, is one of the first brands to work with OpenAI to create a protocol to build an integrated plugin for ChatGPT.
The new tool will hopefully make buying the perfect gift for loved ones and strangers alike a lot simpler, whether it is for Christmas, birthdays, or just a Wednesday.
What is the Klarna ChatGPT collaboration?
Klarna is due to go live with what they dub “a highly personalized and intuitive shopping experience“. The new service looks to provide curated product recommendations and can help in those rather desperate times when all imagination seems to go out of the window.
This AI-generated recommendation will also pair with Klarna’s ability to provide you with a shop link right there and then, which will be viewed through its compare tool.
The best way to think of this is as your very own shopping assistant, you’ll be able to converse and little down options to the ultimate gift!
Is there a ChatGPT Klarna plugin release date?
The plugin already appears on OpenAIs plugin page, however, there isn’t much information about the rollout.
The Klarna plugin will be available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers first in US and Canada. Over time more regions will be added and eventually it will be rolled out for regular ChatGPT users too.
