Exciting news is here for Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord – the full v1.1.0 update is out, and with it comes an extensive list of patch notes to have a read through. Mount & Blade II is a popular medieval strategy/action RPG game which gives you the freedom of a sandbox game. The v1.1.0 update was previously released for Steam users to opt into as a Beta update. Now it’s fully released – featuring additional changes brand-new with the official major update.

The title released in October 2022 (after a couple of years in early access) and is a long-awaited sequel which has got many people talking. Although the game has been officially released for a number a months now, there is still a massive focus on bug fixes and game crashes – which is massively important.   • Fixed many situational crashes.
  • Fixed crashes that could occur when saving or loading the game.

  • Fixed a bug on PS5 & Xbox Series X/S that prevented sounds playing in combat.
  • Added support for armor piece banners in the save load screen.

Multiplayer

  • Fixed a client-side crash when someone picked up a weapon from a corpse.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented players from logging into the lobby.
  • Fixed Khuzait Conscript perk reducing damage by 50%, instead of 5%.

Initial Beta changelog

An earlier Beta stage of the update introduced many changes across the board. Too many to mention, so here are a few key takeaways.

  • Fixed many situational crashes in both Singleplayer and Multiplayer.
  • Optimized save & load times, and save file sizes.
  • Added new art for several pieces of armor.
  • Added missing voiceovers.
  • Upgrades to UI – Troop Sorting, Fog of War, & tutorials.
  • General improvements to battles and sieges.
  • Upgraded Character Development System.
  • Overhaul to perk names and perk descriptions.
  • Redesigned and reimplemented Alley mechanics and village raid system.
  • Several adjustments to quests and quest rewards.
  • Balance changes to Lances and Javelins in Multiplayer.
