Ryzen 9 7900X3D specifications
Before announcing the release date of the Ryzen 9 7900X3D, AMD gave us a snippet of the specifications that the 7900X3D has. Here are the specifications as we know them so far.

- Architecture: Zen 4
- Core count: 12
- Thread count: 24
- Boost speed: 5.6GHz

- TDP 120W
Everything looks pretty normal until you notice the insane amount of cache that has been allocated to the 7900X3D. This is going to make the gaming performance of the 7900X3D insane if the performance of the 5800X3D is anything to go off. We can’t wait to get our hands on these CPUs.
These specifications are vague but they are the most we have right now. We will update this article with more in-depth specifications as soon as the information is available.
Ryzen 9 7900X release date
AMD recently released a YouTube video announcing the release date and price of each of its 7000 X3D CPUs. The release date for the 7900X3D and 7950X3D stands on February 28th, whilst the release date for the 7800X3D stands to be April 6th, 2023.
It is unclear why AMD chose to separate the CPUs in this way, maybe it is to help increase the sales of the more expensive chips. As we know, the high pricing didn’t bode well with the public. Or maybe it’s to combat the release of future budget performers from Intel? Only time will tell.
