This Week In Gaming: Our Top Stories – June 5th

The first week of June was supposed to bring us a new Playstation 5 Livestream, a new Call of Duty season, and information about the new NFL Madden 21. But, instead, it was a week of #BlackoutTuesday and solidarity from gaming companies.

#BlackLivesMatter Delays

As the protests in America, and around the globe, continued this week after the murder of George Floyd sparked outrage, many gaming companies showed their support by tweeting out messages or delaying events. Sony delayed their State of Play which was rumored to hold our first real look at the PS5, and big-name games like Call of Duty and NFL Madden 21 also delayed announcements and updates in solidarity.

Fractal Design’s New Define 7 Compact Case Release

We were lucky enough to get our hands on the new Fractal Design Define 7 Compact before it’s official launch this week and we were not surprised to find it was yet another stellar product from our friends at Fractal. We wrote up our hands-on review right here, or for those who prefer to consume their content in video form, you can check that out below.

Thermaltake Expo

Thermaltake held their very own expo this week to share all the shiny new products they’re going to be launching over the next few months, and I have to say, we were not disappointed. We were there (digitally, of course) every day to keep up with their announcements and share them with all of you. From innovative new PC cases to great new cooling systems, they definitely had some great products to share with us. Check out each day’s roundups below:
