Updated 8th December: It’s finally the release of the Radeon RX 6900XT A.K.A Big Navi. Excited? Well, same, for now at least. No links added just yet but we will be continuing the search all day.
Updated 7th December: We are one day away from the launch of AMD’s greatest ever GPU, the Radeon RX 6900XT. You’d like to think fewer people will be scooping this card up but it is likely to be a case of fastest finger first when it comes to securing one. We will be filling this page with GPU links as they go live.
Updated 4th December: While we expect the stock to follow the same suit like all the other launches, this enthusiast level card may be the easiest of all to actually buy. Many people have already caved and purchased a next-gen GPU, so it should be interesting to see if this release date can put a smile on people’s faces.

There has been talk of AMD’s new series of graphic cards (including the “Big Navi”) for so long it feels like they’ve always been around; now the wait is finally over as the next-gen GPUs are set to have their launch announced on October 28th, 2020. Right off the back of rival Nvidia’s 30-series launch, AMD’s latest GPUs looks set to cause a big shake-up for PC builders & gamers everywhere. What’s more, if you’re looking to upgrade your gaming PC beyond a new GPU, AMD is also set to release a new lineup of CPUs to complement the 6000 series in the form of the new AMD Zen 3 chips.

AMD’s latest GPU lineup is set to go head to head with Nvidia’s new 30-series, building on the success of the previous 500 series. We know there will be several GPUs released in the new line – one with a three fan configuration and one with dual fans. The three fan version seems to be positioned as the flagship model and is likely to be the Radeon RX 6900XT (the ‘Big Navi’) – this is the card that will cost the big bucks and also be awe-inspiring in power. However, AMD usually has a few tricks up their sleeve, especially with mid-range cards, so watch this space for more information closer to the launch date.

After all the rumors over the specs and the release date for the 6000 series we finally have a confirmed announcement regarding the launch date on October 28th, including the flagship ‘Big Navi’.
Hopefully, this release day launch will go much smoother than rivals Nvidia whose 30-series launch was littered with problems; most significantly not enough stock and bots eating up the majority of stock before the general public even had a chance to buy.
While we are still waiting for official pricing details on AMDs 6000 GPUs, we can take an educated guess at what to expect. For previous generations, the AMD GPUs have always been a shade cheaper than their Nvidia counterparts, so it would be surprising to see any different this time around. Although, with the 30-series cards being (on the whole) well-priced, it will be interesting to see what marketing strategy AMD decides to take.
