Are you trying to disable the Arcane Turrets around the Arcane Tower in Baldur’s Gate 3? This tower in the Underdark is full of magic and belongs to a wizard who just so happens to not be home. With a locked entrance, you know that there is something good inside.

At this point in the game, you have probably found a large number of scrolls and learned plenty of new spells that have helped you complete quests. This will come in handy as you explore the Arcane Tower.

If you manage to enter the tower, you will find the Chest of the Mundane, Timmask Spores, and weapons, among other items. Getting into this building is a hassle. Thankfully, you have companions on your side. Here is how you disable the Arcane Turrets in Baldur’s Gate 3.

How to disable the Arcane Turrets in Baldur’s Gate 3

If you want to get past the Arcane Turrets in Baldur’s Gate 3, there are two ways to go about it. First, you can use Sussur Blossom. These can be found around the Sussur Tree on the other side of the Underdark. Placing a Sussur Bloom near an Arcane Turret will disable it.

The other method of disabling the turrets is by using a lightning damage spell like Witch Bolt. This will allow you to damage and destroy the Arcane Turrets. Of course, you can also get past them using Misty Step or by simply using the sneak mechanic in the game.

Once you have gotten up the stairs of the Arcane Tower, you can lockpick the entrance. After picking the door’s lock and getting inside, you will have two more Arcane Turrets to deal with. It is easier to deal with them in turn-based mode.

You can go over to the balcony and jump down the side of the Arcane Tower to avoid these. If you have the Feather Fall spell, you can jump down the side of the tower and access the tower’s basement.

Getting back to the top requires the use of the Arcane Tower elevator which can only be used after activating the power generator. You can then use the buttons to activate the elevator and go to the top where the Bernard encounter is.

Throughout the tower, you will find giant mushrooms, red mushrooms, and blue mushrooms that you can collect.
