After a good rest, or when you’re ready to embark on an adventure, you might wonder how to leave Camp in Baldur’s Gate 3. The Dungeons and Dragons-inspired game by Larian Studios will have you defeating goblin leaders and pillaging loot.

You will have many companions within Baldur’s Gate 3, Astarion, Wyll, Gale, and Shadowheart, to name a few. As you, the main character, figure out a way to rid of your parasite problem, your companions will be there to assist you. However, after a good night’s rest, it’s time to return to your quests. This guide will detail how to leave Camp in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Baldur’s Gate 3 – How to leave the Camp

To leave the Camp, you must click on your Map and access the fast travel menu in Baldur’s Gate 3. Press M on your Keyboard to access the World Map. On the right-hand side of the screen, you will find all your Waypoints, including Leave Camp, if you are already within your Campsite. Once you click on Leave Camp, you will be ported to the last area you were teleported from. You can also leave camp by clicking on your bedroll or fire in the centre of your camp after a rest.

You can set up a campsite anywhere, so long as it is outside the combat zone. The Camp is a feature that will provide temporary shelter for you and your companions. This feature will allow you to rest your companions and restore Hit Points, Spell Slots, and Actions. You can take two actions within the Camp, a Long Rest or Short Rest.

When you can choose to do a Long rest at the end of the day or when you have enough Camp Supplies. You can find this option on the right side of the UI with the campfire icon. You will then advance to the next day, receive a full rest, and restore HP, Hit Points, and Spell Slots. It will also remove any negative status effects on you or your companions.

The Long Rest option will also trigger a new important conversation with your companions. You will also meet Raphael, the Hooded Skeleton, and the Withers and invite NPCs such as Scratch or the Owlbear Cub outside the Blighted Village to the Campsite. You will also have the opportunity to participate in romancing your companions.

While within Short Rest, you will only restore your Hit Points and Spell Slot to a degree.
