Do you want to play Baldur’s Gate 3 on Nintendo Switch? Larian Studios, the developer of the Divinity Original Sin series, has created a massive RPG with endless possibilities. Set in the Dungeons & Dragons world of the Forgotten Realms, there is plenty to explore in this large game.

Larian Studios’ next major RPG is set to launch in August. For a while now, the game has been available on Microsoft Windows PC via early access but will make the jump to console. With so much hype around the game, there have also been many questions.

Are you looking forward to Baldur’s Gate 3’s many romance options? Will the game have cross-play or cross-platform progression? Will it come to Xbox One? What about Nintendo Switch? Is Baldur’s Gate 3 coming to Nintendo Switch?

Will Baldur’s Gate 3 come to Nintendo Switch?

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like Baldur’s Gate 3 will be coming to Nintendo Switch. At the very least, the D&D game will not be on Nintendo’s console when it launches in August. Judging by how the game is having issues on Xbox Series X/S, it makes it hard to believe that it will ever be on Nintendo Switch.

Currently, you can purchase the game for PC and Mac (Apple) via Steam. Later on, Baldur’s Gate 3 will come to next-gen platforms. It has been stated that the availability of the game will be exclusive to the more powerful consoles.

Of course, don’t rule out the possibility of a port of Baldur’s Gate 3 coming to Nintendo Switch later on. After all, Divinity Original Sin and the Witcher 3 both ended up coming to Nintendo Switch and they are very large games as well.

With plenty of work and perhaps some downgrading of the graphics, Baldur’s Gate 3 could hit Nintendo’s micro console in the future. As of right now, there isn’t a reason to expect the game to come to the Nintendo Switch.
