Do you need to know what a Blood Harvest is in Diablo IV? With the second season of Blizzard’s hellish game about to kick off, there is plenty of new content on the way, and Blood Harvests is one of them.
In addition to the new powers, new quests, and new characters coming in Season of Blood, there are also new events. One of these is the Blood Harvest. Just what is a Blood Harvest in Diablo IV? Look no further, we’ve got all the details you need.
Diablo 4 – What is a Blood Harvest?
A Blood Harvest is a new event in Diablo IV that can be found in Season 2, the Season of Blood. This event functions similarly to Helltides, where specific zones are Blood Harvest zones to enter and complete activities in. Each ritual is filled with minions draining blood for sacrifice, and you can defeat them for loot.
There’s tons of loot to find in Blood Harvests, including weapons, jewelry, boots, helms, pants, and plenty more gear. There are also special materials you’ll be able to gather that you can’t find anywhere else, which will be useful for leveling up your Vampirism-infected seasonal character and their Vampiric Powers.
These events are a bit different from Helltides, though, in three ways:
- They are available at Level 1 in Season 2
- They are always active
- You don’t lose the materials you’ve collected at the end
You can jump into this new event as soon as you make your seasonal character. These events will change location, but they will always be active, unlike Helltides which run on a schedule.
Blood Harvests aren’t the only new content coming with Season 2. Vampires controlled by Lord Zir are beginning to take over Sanctuary, and it’s up to you to stop it. There’s new armor, new Unique items and Uber Uniques, a new Vampire Skill Tree, new endgame bosses, and plenty more. The new questline will include new characters like Vampire Lord Zir, Vampire Hunter Erys, and others.
Plenty of updates coming to Diablo IV as well, like updates to Nightmare Dungeons, Renown, mount movement speed, and more this October when Blood Harvests and Season 2 of Diablo IV arrive. Make sure you’ve got the best CPU to take advantage of all the new content.
