Who is Cormond in the new season’s questline in Diablo 4? Blizzard Entertainment’s first season of Diablo 4, the Season of the Malignant, will be released in July, with new rewards and mastery title.

There is plenty to do and various quests to complete in Diablo 4. But you may first want to find out how to change World Tiers, how to respec or get more gold before the new season begins. Follow this guide to learn who Cormond is in Diablo 4.

Who is the priest Cormond in Diablo 4?

The season of the Malignant has crept upon the Sanctuary, and as this new threat arises, your help is needed. During the new questline in Diablo 4, you will meet a new character called Cormond. You will partner with Cormond, a former priest of the Cathedral of Light, near the start of Season 1.

Your task is to discover the source of the Malignant Monsters with the help of Cormond and put a stop to the spread of Malignant. Cormond has found a way to stop the plague by removing the dark core from the Malignant and using this power to destroy them. However, he has lost many comrades and needs your help stopping corruption.

Due to the plagued corruption, players will now face new bosses, whether humans, animals, or demons. Cormond will teach you how to capture the Malignant Hearts and turn them into the power of your own. In doing so, you will learn a new ritual in which you must capture Malignant and Caged Hearts.

The first season of Diablo 4 will take place after the events of the main campaign. After which, Cormond will seek you out and ask for assistance to rid the Sanctuary of the new Malignant plague. You can obtain new power, gear, weapons, and clothing transmog during this season.
