What are the Malignant Tunnels in Diablo 4?
Malignant Tunnels are dungeons in which you can find Malignant enemies and obtain Malignant Hearts. While Malignant monsters can be found throughout the Sanctuary, you have a higher chance of finding these Malignant creatures in these tunnels.
Malignant monsters are much more powerful than the average monsters you can find throughout the Sanctuary. Additionally, you can replay these tunnels as much as you like.
Once you have found a Maglinant Tunnel, you need an Invoker to activate the Malignant Outgrowth inside the tunnel. This new item can be crafted with the Malignant Hearts you have captured within the Sanctuary. Once you have your Malignant Hearts, you can break them down to craft the Invoker.
With your handy Invoker, enter the Malignant Tunnels to activate the Malignant Outgrowths. These Invokers are used at the end of the Malignant Tunnel. There are four different types of Malignant Hearts you can obtain. They are Devious (pink), Brutal (blue), Vicious (orange), and Wrath (white).
You can choose which heart you want to collect within the Malignant Tunnels. Once you pick your preferred color heart, it will spawn the Malignant monster specific to that heart. The Malignant monsters will become more powerful as you continue your journey throughout the season.
