There are endless items you’ll find as you journey across the open world of Sanctuary in pursuit of Lilith during the main campaign of Diablo IV. Some of these unique items are better than others and are worth taking the extra time to search for.

Everything from Normal items to the fabled Uber Uniques and the best weapons in the game will be able to be found within the five regions. While you won’t come across everything while journeying through Sanctuary, there are some items you’ll really want, including the Ring of Mendeln.

One of the best pieces of gear is the Ring of Mendeln, and if you’re on the hunt, look no further. We’re here to show you how to get the Ring of Mendeln.

How to get Ring of Mendeln in Diablo 4

The Ring of Mendeln has no one set drop point, and instead can be found in random chance drops after you are in World Tier 3: Nightmare. Anywhere that drops Uniques can have the Ring of Mendeln drop, but we recommend these spots specifically:

  • Nightmare Dungeons
  • World Bosses
  • Helltides Events

These areas are the most likely to drop Unique gear and therefore have the best chance to drop the Ring of Mendeln. You’ll have to put some farming in, as it’s a random drop, and you’ll need some luck, but keep trying. It can drop from monsters and Elites on Nightmare difficulty too, but this isn’t a surefire way to get it, as it’s one of the rarest items in the game. The odds are still very low, but if you keep trying, you’ll have a better chance of getting this rare piece of jewelry.

As long as you are on the Nightmare or Torrent World Tier, the ring has a chance of dropping from enemies and chests, as well. If you prefer to just keep raiding monsters in the game, you can find it just out in the open, too. This is significantly harder than going through actual events and dungeons but can work if you want to try something different.

Diablo 4 Ring of Mendeln explained – what is it?

The Ring of Mendeln is a Unique ring that can only be equipped by the Necromancer class. The ring is a fantastic asset to a Necromancer’s gear, as it gives more Cold Resistance and Shadow Resistance. It’s a ring of immense power and is worth seeking out.

Other stat boosts include higher Lucky Hit Chance, increased Minion Health, and Minion Attack Speed, empowering the Thorns ability. While you have seven Minions or more you gain Lucky Hit, up to a 10% chance to empower all of your skeletal warriors, causing the next attack from each to explode for Physical damage.

This ring is an amazing piece of gear, so it makes sense that Blizzard wants to make it difficult to get a hold of. The Ring of Mendeln unique effects have plenty of bonuses, and it’s a highly sought-after item in the game, with a guarantee to be useful.
