Is Diablo IV going to be on Steam?

Yes, Diablo IV is coming to Steam. This was announced during the Season 2 Campfire Chat hosted by the Diablo dev team. Diablo IV, and all of its content, will launch on October 17 along with the start of the new season.

This release will let players join up with their Steam friends list and enjoy the Season of Blood together. You will also be able to earn Steam Achievements. Activision Blizzard has begun bringing several games to the platform, including Overwatch, so it makes sense that Diablo is next.

Will there be cross-progression for Diablo 4 on Steam?

Yes, also revealed in the developer update livestream on Wednesday was that the Steam release of Diablo IV will have cross-progression and cross-platform play support. You will be able to bring all your characters and Renown progress over with cross-progression and enjoy playing with others on all platforms with cross-play. This includes Xbox, PlayStation, and Battle.net.

The game will also be playable on Steam Deck, however, it’s unknown what level of support the game will have for the console.

The second season of Diablo IV will be released along with the game’s launch on Valve’s platform. You can jump into all the new Vampiric Powers, new quest line, and more with the Season of Blood. Make sure to meet the system requirements.
