Pikmin 4 has plenty of preorder bonuses and various Pikmin colors to enjoy in-game, but you may be wondering where can you play Pikmin 4.

Is Pikmin 4 available on Mac?
No, Pikmin 4 is not available on Mac computers. The series is a Nintendo exclusive and therefore is only on Nintendo Switch.
There are no known plans to bring Pikmin 4 over to Mac either, as Nintendo isn’t known for making their exclusive series like Mario, Legend of Zelda, and Pikmin widely available on other platforms. It’s unlikely the game will see a release on Mac anytime soon.
Pikmin 4 lets you take on the role of a new recruit of The Rescue Corps, whose mission is to seek out missing members of the ranks on strange planets. You will encounter the titular Pikmin, little plant creatures who are loyal to you, and follow your commands as you solve puzzles and encounter the fauna on the mysterious planet.
One of these missing corps members is the explorer, Captain Olimar, the series protagonist and playable character for the previous titles.
The Pikmin series from the mind of Shigeru Miyamoto himself hasn’t seen a new mainline title since Pikmin 3 was released nearly 10 years ago. The series has a cult following that has been eager for a new title to explore, and now their wishes have been granted as Nintendo releases the newest title for both veterans of the series and newcomers alike.
There is plenty of new gameplay, including a new type of Pikmin, the Ice Pikmin, and the rescue pup, Oatchi, that was shown off in the official trailer released in June. There are vast explorable areas and bodies of water with new paths to take, and side missions to complete as you complete your expedition.
