Pikmin 4 is one of the many popular franchises in Nintendo. As a result, many Pikmin fans are curious if the sequel will have story mode like the previous games. During Captain Olimar’s missions, he will find various creatures; some are friends, and others, unfortunately, foes.

However, with the help of his little Pikmin army, Captain Olimar can find helpful items to construct bridges and gear throughout the various regions. Pkimin 4 is set to release in July and will be a bundle of fun. However, do be prepared for a challenge! During your night expeditions, you may experience some aggressive creatures that aren’t usually active during the day. This guide will detail whether there is a Story Mode in the upcoming game Pikmin 4.

Will there be a Story Mode in Pikmin 4?

Pikmin 4 has been in development for nearly a decade; however, Pikmin fans can now rejoice at seeing their favorite Pikmin types return to the game. Since it has been almost ten years since the previous Pikmin games, it’s not surprising many want to know if there will be a Story Mode. Pikmin 4 will have a Story Mode on the Nintendo Switch

Additionally, it will also include a Dandori Battle that will put your planning skills to the test. You can either play this battle solo or with a second player. During the Story Mode, Captain Olimar is part of the Rescue Corps and thus must save any shipwrecked castaways on a mysterious planet after a crash landing. Throughout your travels, you will be accompanied by the Pikmin and your dog companion Oatchi.

Pikmin 4’s Story Mode will also include a Co-Op multiplayer mode. During this mode, Player 2 will support Player 1. During the Co-Op mode, the second player will use the Pebble Pitcher and throw pebbles at opponents with the on-screen pointer. So now, you can have even more fun with a friend!
