Pikmin 4 is a game about exploration. Throughout the game, you will partner with various types of Pikmin and the Rescue Pup Oatchi to find treasures and rescue the castaways on the mysterious planet.

Each treasure you obtain will get you Sparklium to power your ship. These treasures are often buried in the dirt, thrown into caves, or having off the occasional ledge. Sometimes, you will even need to complete a Dandori Battle to get extra items.

Bring out your Yellow Pikmin, Red Pikmin, and more. The first area of the game, the Sun-Speckled Terrace, has multiple caves for you to find and you will need multiple Pikmin types to complete them. Ready your Nintendo Switch. Here are all the cave locations in the Sun-Speckled Terrace in Pikmin 4.

Pikmin 4 – All Sun Speckled Terrace Cave locations

There are plenty of caves for you to find throughout the Sun-Speckled Terrace. These caves can be found in the demo which is also the early hours of the game. The following caves are found in the Sun-Speckled Terrace:

• Hectic Hollows – To the left of the starting landing zone. Requires the jump upgrade to reach. Has wild Ice Pikmin and multiple treasures.
• Industrial Maze – A very industrious cave with multiple electric fences and moving conveyor belt platforms. Located near the center landing zone and requires the jump to access.
• Last-Frost Cavern – This is the first of the caves you will find as it is on the path to the right of the first landing zone. The cavern has wild Ice Pikmin as well as multiple treasures and Hydro Jelly.
• Crackling Cauldron – The Cauldron is where you will find Wild Yellow Pikmin which are needed to obtain the Yellow Onion. Located to the north of the central landing zone.
• Aquiferous Summit – In the highest reaches of the map. Has multiple treasures and wild Ice Pikmin. Blue Pikmin are useful here thanks to the water.

Additionally, there are two Dandori Battles that you can find:

• Trial Run – Southern-most cave that is on the other side of a buildable bridge. Requires you to fight a Leafling.
• Dandori Day Care – On the western side of the map where there is a large body of water. Requires Ice Pikmin to access. This challenge requires you to collect all of the items within the time limit.
