Have you been looking for the Alien Egg in Starfield? There are multiple easter eggs in Starfield that you can discover with some of them being focused around previous Bethesda games like Fallout and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
While there are plenty of game easter eggs, Starfield does contain a few movie eggs that are great nods to classic franchises. One of which is Aliens. If you aren’t afraid of picking up a little Alien DNA that doesn’t come from the trait, you can track down a literal Alien Egg.
With your companion by your side, you can brave the many star systems in the universe in search of an Alien Egg. The path will be treacherous and there may be a lack of oxygen but you can find it. We just wonder if you can hatch it as well. Here is where to find the Alien Egg in Starfield and what it is used for.
Alien Egg location in Starfield
When it comes to the Alien Egg, you can find it by going to the planet Procyon III in the Procyon A Star System. This star system is near the Sol Star System where Earth can be found. It is also by the Alpha Centauri System where New Atlantis is.
Provided you don’t want to make a stop at the Empire State Building in New York, land on Procyon III and land at the scanner anomaly. From here, there is a bit of wandering to be had. You will access this area during the Into the Unknown quest. Be on the lookout for alien creatures that look like scorpions.
When you see these creatures, you will be close to the egg. Nearby, you will find a container with an Alien Egg inside.
There are other easter eggs in the game as well like the Apollo 11 Moon Landing site, the Feynman system named after Werner Heisenberg a scientist who studied quantum mechanics, the face of Mars, and others that are based on the popular Arrow to the knee meme.
What is the Alien Egg used for in Starfield?
While there are plenty of rewards that come from quests, the Alien Egg isn’t one of them. In fact, this item is just what it appears to be, an egg. You can’t do anything with it besides bring it back to your spaceship and let it sit around for your crew to stare at.
There are plenty of other easter eggs in Starfield such as the Adoring Fan, the classic ‘arrow to the knee,’ and even landmarks. The Alien Egg is just one of the many easter eggs. This one, however, is for the Xenomorph eggs in the movie Alien.
