The Fallout and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim developer has even created multiple editions of Starfield for those who want to get bonus items in-game.
Down a spacesuit and get ready to fly your ship across the uncharted regions of space. Your quest to find planets and discover the mysteries of the universe. After a war between the United Colonies and the Freestar Collective, you will join the Constellation faction – a group dedicated to searching the galaxy.

Starfield Editions and Prices
Starfield will cost you anywhere from $69.99 to $299.99 depending on the edition that you purchase. There is also a premium upgrade that will cost you an additional $34.99 if you wish to upgrade from the standard edition. You can also purchase the premium upgrade if you have the game through Game Pass.
There are three different editions of Starfield that you can purchase prior to launch and after the game releases in September; the standard edition, the premium edition, and the constellation edition.

- Starfield Premium Edition – $99.99
- Starfield Constellation Edition – $299.99
- Starfield Premium Upgrade – $34.99
Each edition comes with different bonuses with the standard edition only coming with the base game for your console along with the Old Mars Skin Pack if you pre-order it. You can purchase Starfield through the Xbox Store or through Steam if you are playing on PC. There are also multiple retailers selling the game.
If bought in the Microsoft Store, the premium edition can be a digital premium edition. The more expensive editions of the game come with additional items like the Shattered Space Story expansion, original soundtrack, and even an artbook.
Those who have Xbox Game Pass will not need to pay the extra money for the game since it will be on Game Pass on day one. This way you won’t need to shell out extra cash to play on your Xbox Series X/S.
