Should you expose Vae Victis or blame Orlase in Starfield Vanguard storyline? Your Starfield journey is going to be filled with situations where you’ll have to make a tough decision, and this will be one of them. You can either let a man who committed a crime walk away and become a hitman for him or get him killed for his actions. The choice will be up to you.

Should I expose Vae Victis or put the blame on Orlase in Starfield?

We think that exposing Vae Victis is the right thing to do, as he was the one responsible for the New Atlantis Terromorph attacks along with Reginald Orlase. However, if you want some exciting story quests that involve killing people, you should let Vae Victis walk away, as this will make him hire you as his hitman later on.

Now that we have discussed what you should do, let’s discuss the outcome of both choices.

What happens if you expose Vae Victis?

If you decide to expose Vae Victis, you will show a recorded video in front of the jury of the Charter, which will confirm that Vae Victis and Reginad Orlase were behind the Terramorph attacks. Vae Victis will be then charged with the crimes, and he will be executed later on. You will gain access to his house and belongings, but you won’t find anything valuable there.

What happens if you put the blame on Reginald Orlase?

If you decide to keep your mouth shut and not present the evidence in front of the jury, Vae Victis will put everything on Reginald Orlase, who won’t be able to do anything, considering he’s dead. The court will believe him, and they will close down the investigation now that they have someone to put the blame on.

Later on, as a token of appreciation for helping him out, Vae Victis will offer you a job; to become a hitman for him and take down a list of people from the United Colonies.

As you can see for yourself, exposing Vae Victis will help the jury punish the criminal for his crimes, while keeping your mouth shut will help you get a job. Either way, no matter what choice you make, you will still get 100,000 Credits and become a United Colonies Class One citizen as rewards for completing the mission. After completing a set of UC Vanguard missions, you’ll also get a free Penthouse.
