Should you kill or speak to Warlord in Bare Metal Quest in Starfield? This is a question almost every player has in their mind during the quest. Handling Warlord in Bare Metal Quest
Warlord is a member of the Disciples, a local gang that consists of many criminals. You first learn about him after speaking to Frank Renick, who claims that Warlord wants him dead. Now, it becomes your responsibility to deal with the situation. You can either handle it the quick way and kill Warlord. Or, you can talk to him and try to cool things down.
Before we get into whether you should kill or speak to Warlord in Bare Metal mission, let’s first discuss the consequences of both actions.
What happens if you kill Warlord?
If you decide to kill Warlord, he will claim that he was the one who broke into Frank’s shop to rob it. Furthermore, he’ll mention how Styx managed to kill a few members of his crew, something that is bothering Warlord.
Now, you will get two options; you can either persuade Warlord to walk away and leave both Frank and Styx alone, or you can just go ahead and attack him. Don’t worry; Warlord isn’t a tough enemy, so you won’t face any difficulties while taking him down. Furthermore, you’ll also need to fight another gang member, who will be with him at that time.
Once killed, Warlord’s body can be looted for goods, and you’ll also get 1,553 credits. When you return to Frank, he will reward you with 4,300 credits for taking care of the matter.
What happens if you speak to Warlord?
Now, if you decide to speak to Warlord, things will take a different turn, and you’ll be left surprised. This is because you’ll learn that Warlord has no intentions of killing Frank. However, do keep in mind that persuading Warlord isn’t easy. You need to make sure you only choose the high-risk options at the beginning and then go with the green ones during the rest of the conversation.
Once successfully persuaded, Warlord will pay you for Styx’s damages, and you can then return to Frank to receive the 4,300 credits reward. Make sure you invest some skill points in the Persuasion skill to increase the chances of persuasion.
Should I speak to Warlord or kill him in Starfield?
We think that speaking to Warlord is the best option. This is because there is no need for bloodshed if he has no intentions of killing Frank. Sure, you will get a number of goods such as weapons, Warlord’s credits, and extra credits by looting the Warlord’s corpse, but that is not the right choice.
