There are a variety of spacesuits to find in Bethesda’s latest title Starfield, but some are better than others. One of those is the Mark 1 Spacesuit, and it’s one of the best in the entire game.

While there are plenty of planets to discover, religions to choose from, and more, you’ll be hard-pressed to get anywhere without the best gear. The Mark 1 Spacesuit is one of these pieces of gear, and it’s surprisingly easy to get.

If you need to know where to find the Mark 1 Spacesuit in Starfield, look no further. We’re here to show you how you can pick up this suit early in the game.

How to get the Mark 1 Spacesuit in Starfield

The Mark 1 Spacesuit can be found in the basement of The Lodge on New Atlantis. To pick it up, here’s what you need to do:

  • Head to Constellation HQ, The Lodge
  • Go down the stairs to The Lodge basement
  • Navigate to a storage room with a covered couch in the back
  • Find the mannequin in the glass display case in the corner
  • The case has a lock, but there is an open gap
  • Once the mannequin is highlighted, you can take the suit

This will let you take the Mark 1 Spacesuit, pack, and helmet off the mannequin and keep it for yourself. This will also bypass the need for lockpicking by leveling up your security skill to three, which can take a while, as it’s much faster to just take it through the gap.

This is how you get one of the best spacesuits early in your playthrough, so you can power through the main story quest with the best gear.

The suit has great stats, including Physical Damage Reduction, Thermal Resistance, Corrosive Resistance, Radiation Resistance, Melee Damage Improvement, and more. This spacesuit armor is fantastic to get for early gameplay, and it’s well worth picking up on your journey through the Settled Systems and beyond in this massive game.
