How to persuade Warlord in Starfield

Warlord is a character you’ll meet during the Bare Metal Quest. He is the one whom Frank Renick is afraid of, as he believes Warlord has set a target on his back. To help him out, you must speak to Warlord and ask him to back off. For this, you need to learn how to persuade Warlord in Starfield so you can deal with the matter nicely.

The beef between Warlord and Frank started when the gang member raided Frank’s shop and damaged Styx using graffiti. Now, you do get the option to kill Warlord if you want some action. However, speaking to Warlord and persuading him is the right choice. This is because you’ll learn that he actually has no intentions of killing Frank.

How do I persuade Warlord in Starfield?

Before you try to persuade Warlord, make sure to invest some skill points in your Persuasion skill. This will increase the chances of convincing Warlord to back off and pay for the damages. Furthermore, save your game before starting the process. This will allow you to reload the game and try again in case you fail during the first time.

First, select the “[Persuade] You’re going to pay for the damages.” option. Once done, choose these dialogues to persuade Warlord in Starfield:

1. Renick’s not all there in the head. Do you really want him as an enemy?
2. You’ve got the Strikers to worry about. Don’t waste time with Renick.
3. I know you have your reasons. I’m just trying to help.
4. This needs to end. Haven’t you lost enough of your crew?

After the conversation is over and Warlord has been persuaded, he will pay you for the damages. Then, you must return to Frank, who will thank you for your services by paying you 4,300 credits.
