Factions are just one of the many ways your character can be customized in Bethesda Games’ latest title, Starfield. There are endless possibilities in this new open universe, and choosing your faction or factions is one of them. Those who are fans of Bethesda Game Studios RPGs like Fallout and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim should be well aware of what factions are like.
Once you’ve finished the character creation and started exploring the various star systems and cities found in-game, you’ll stumble across the various factions found. One of those factions is the Ryujin Industries Faction.
What is Ryujin Industries? What do they stand for, their traits, and where can you find them? Here is everything you need to know about Ryujin Industries in Starfield including how to join them.
What is Ryujin Industries in Starfield?
Ryujin Industries is one of the mega-corporation factions found in Starfield. While not much is known currently about this faction, we do know that they are one of the biggest corporations in the Settled Systems, and likely care about profits before all else, similar to the Xenofresh Corporation.
Unlike Constellation, they also have no interest in exploring the galaxy if it means no profit for them. Their purpose is still mainly unknown, though, besides their desire for profit. Their history is also pretty obscure at this point, other than their suspected rivalry with Xenofresh Corporation, but we’ll update this article once we know more come the Starfield release date.
They are quite easy to join during gameplay, as all you’ll need to do is apply for a job on their base of operations in the city of Neon.
Where is Ryujin Industries in Starfield?
As mentioned above, Ryujin Industries operates mainly in Neon City. However, it’s not their city like New Atlantis is the capital city of the United Colonies. They are a corporate presence that resides there, same as Xenofresh Corporation, and helped turn Neon from a simple fishing dock into the pleasure city that it has become due to the psychotropic fish that live in the waters, which is able to make the drug Aurora.
Ryujin Industries is just one of the nine Starfield factions found in-game. You’ll stumble upon them during your quests and exploration, and they range from the space pirates in the Crimson Fleet to the western fantasy Freestar Collective. Whether you want to be a part of full-on space explorers, the game’s bad guys, or dedicated to a religious group is up to you depending on what faction you join.
How to join Ryujin Industries in Starfield
The quest to join Ryujin Industries in Starfield is called Back to the Grind. To start this quest, you will need to head to New Atlantis. Here, you can find a rumor about a job posting. You can also head to Volii Alpha to find a landing site in Neon. Once you land, look for a terminal near the landing pad to find a job application.
After completing the job application, make your way to the Ryujin Industries head office and talk to Lane. From there, continue through the quest and you will join the Ryujin Industries faction in Starfield. There are other factions to check out like the Enlightened, Ecliptic Mercenaries, and Spacers.
