How to sell items in Starfield
Throughout your travels across outer space, you will come across items you no longer need or are too heavy for your carrying capacity. To sell items in Starfield, you must interact with the storefront and select the Buy Menu. Then, choose the item category, your own or your ship’s inventory, and press E to sell it.
However, Vendors are limited to the amount of Credits they can give you. This will be refreshed every 24 hours so you can get extra cash.

Note: You can only sell certain items to a specific vendor. If you want to sell weapons, you will have to find a storefront pertaining to it. This is similar to the sale of Contraband items, as it can only be done at the Trade Authority building.
