Do you want to sell your ship in Starfield? Perhaps you are a space pirate with the Crimson Fleet and you have a stolen ship to get rid of. Maybe you just completed a quest or mission and received a reward you don’t want. Either way, a ship’s value is nothing to gawk at.

There is a massive list of ships you can get in Starfield and gamers can even build their own ships to call home. If you want some extra cash, consider selling your ships for credits and using those credits to upgrade your favorite ship’s engines or by a shielded cargo hold.

If you want to sell your stolen ships and acquire some extra loot, consider checking out the various vendors in New Atlantis. You just might find what you are looking for. Here is how to sell ships in Starfield.

Starfield – How to sell ships

If you want to sell your ships in Starfield, you will need to go to a ship services technician vendor. These technicians can be found at spaceports all over the universe like Akila City, Neon, New Atlantis on Jemison in the Alpha Centauri System, and the Red Mile.

To begin the process of selling a ship, you need to make sure it is registered. This means that you will also need to pay a registration fee to register the spacecraft. Once a ship has been registered, you will be able to sell it. Tell the technician that you would like to view your ships.

In this menu, you can select from the ships that you own. From there, you can choose to sell your ship if you’d like on the selling block. Keep in mind that you cannot sell your home ship.

You cannot sell ships at Trade Authority kiosks or other vendors. Selling a ship is a good way to get a lot of credits quickly and a good way to pay off your bounty if you have accrued one. You can level up some skills on the skill tree to help negotiate a better price for your ship.
