AMD Games Bundle
AMD has just launched a new bundle that is available for users building a system looking to include their hardware inside. If, when building your new system, you opt to include either an AMD CPU or a graphics card you may qualify for up to three games alongside three months of Xbox Game Pass for free. After all, there’s nothing quite like free content to sweeten a deal!
Will I Be Eligible?
This deal applies to several different graphics cards and processors from AMD’s lineup. You can mix and match these though, so if the CPU you choose gives you two free games, you could finish this off with a GPU that gives you the final game on offer as well.
The three games on offer are nothing to sniff at either! Up for grabs is the newly released Borderlands 3 and the up and coming Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint & The Outer Worlds. This is a great offering for those looking to not only build their game collection but also to allow them to play the newest games while testing their shiny new hardware.
The three months Xbox Game Pass is also a great deal. With the Game Pass on PC costing £7.99 a month, this is a great saving. Don’t forget about the games though! Xbox Game Pass will give you access to over 100 games including the recently released Gears 5. Even if you choose to cancel the Game Pass after the three months, the value you can get out of it is great!
How Do The AMD Games Bundles Work?
The deals fall into two categories, free games based on the CPU you choose and free games based on the GPU you choose. You don’t have to get both items, but if you do you will be making the most of this great offer.
Here’s how it works. If you buy one of the following graphics cards you will receive the choice of either Borderlands 3 or Ghost Recon Breakpoint AND three months of Xbox Game Pass for PC.
- AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
- AMD Radeon RX 5700
- AMD Radeon RX 590
- AMD Radeon RX 580
- AMD Radeon RX 570
If you opt for the processor deal, it gets a little bit more complicated. The following CPUs will grant you both The Outer Worlds and Borderlands 3 (plus Game Pass).
- AMD Ryzen 9 3000 Series
- AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
The following chips will grant you the choice of either The Outer Words and Borderlands 3 (plus Game Pass).
- AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
- AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
- AMD Ryzen 7 2700
Additionally, the following three cards won’t qualify you for any free games, but you will still receive the Game Pass offering.
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- AMD Ryzen 5 3400G
- AMD Ryzen 5 2000 Series
All in all, this is a great deal if you are currently building a PC, even while writing this I am getting the urge to go building again!
